The late Hillel Menachem Weigal Yaakov Yaniv, two brothers aged 20 and 22 from the settlement of Har Bracha in Samaria, were murdered today (Sunday) in the shooting attack in Hawara. The mother of the brothers sent a recording to the youth of Har Bracha and said: “We received a tremendous slap in the face from God. We We are trying to find the good things. We have a huge hole in our hearts, and nothing will close it. Not construction, not a demonstration, not anything. Even joys in the family will be a plaster, the hole will remain and we will learn to live with it happily and continue.”

“They were both on their way to study Torah, to do meaningful service in the army,” continued the mother. “I have no words that can comfort, but we trust you. We planned to have a farewell Shabbat and with God’s help we will make a significant Shabbat for the youth and we will be able to talk and we will be very happy if you write stories and memories and special things.” Meanwhile, the parents of the murdered agreed to donate their organs.

On behalf of the studio, a message was sent to the parents to explain the silence: “We had a lovely day and we are on our way to Eilat”, they wrote in the message. “A few kilometers before Eilat, a stone was thrown at one of the buses and the outer windshield shattered (the inner windshield remained intact). Everyone is fine, we are continuing to Eilat and should arrive in about twenty minutes,” reported “Walla!”.
