I would like to implement a temporary RAID0 on a temporary computer I’m working on and I need two SSDs to get a volume of 1-2TB (doesn’t really matter). I looked at Amazon (I prefer to buy parts from there that may require care/warranty and not from me/ebay for obvious reasons.) and I saw 1TB drives for 100-120 NIS from companies I’ve never heard of (Fikwot, fanxiang, etc.).
Can you trust them in terms of reliability? I need them to last me a few months and that’s enough.
– What is the recommendation for two best quality drives up to NIS 270 for both?
– In my case with RAID0 in which sectors were damaged, I received a message from the controller that RAID0 is damaged and cannot be used, is it still possible to use it?
-Is it possible to repair RAID0 in which sectors have been knocked out using some software? I don’t really mind losing some of the information as long as I can still use it.
