Probably nobody expected that. Not much is missing before the fundraiser would break the thousand euro mark. That is not excluded, the campaign on betterplace.me continues. Nevertheless, the balance so far is impressive: the donation total is currently 741 euros, originally 200 euros were to be collected. Dennis Marnolds has already received new clothes. The large amount of money leaves room for further relief efforts.
Organizer Manuela P. expressed her gratitude on Facebook. In particular, she is happy about the numerous donations, the highest amounted to 50 euros. You guarantee that every penny will go to Dennis Marnolds. She is currently being overwhelmed by contact requests. Many Castrop-Rauxelers are asking how they can support the cause beyond individual donations. The initiator herself avoids the media public.

If Manuela P. has her way, further donations will follow. She is currently working on a solution to an acute problem: Dennis Marnolds is sleeping on the cold pavement of the Ickerner market square. He is to get a “fishing bed”, a kind of portable camp bed. She also wants to provide him with coffee and warm meals. In addition, part of the donations will flow into sandwiches for the homeless. He should be able to pick them up in the morning at a local bakery.
