The Crown Prince arrived in Jeddah to watch the final round of the Formula One Saudi Grand Prix. He was received by Sports Minister Abdul Aziz bin Turki Al-Faisal. Bahrain’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister Emir Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle President Emir Khalid bin Sultan Al Faisal and FIA President Gian Tod accompanied the Crown on the track.
Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes came in first. Verstappen came in second and Mercedes’ own Valteri Botas came in third. The two cars collided as Hamilton overtook Verstappen in the final stages of the race. Verstappen was awarded a five-second penalty. Hamilton finished first in the third consecutive Grand Prix.
