Over 10,000 flights to areas affected by the earthquake in Turkey

The number of flights to the Turkish provinces affected by the earthquake, Kahrman Mash and Tay, exceeded 10,000. According to the information of the Government General Administration responsible for airport operations affiliated to the Turkish Ministry of Transport, the total number of domestic and international flights to the airports of the districts affected by the earthquake reached 10,216 flights in the period between February 6 and 24.

According to the information, 8,883 thousand domestic flights and 1,333 international flights were made at the airports of Kahrman Merash, Gaziantep, Adana, Sanliurfa, Adiyaman, Malatya, Diyarbakir, Hatay and Elazig in the disaster area. These are military and civilian flights.

According to the information, 877 of these flights were made in Kahrman in advance, 551 in Hatay, 1,775 in Gaziantep, 3,095 in Adana, 602 in Sanliurfa, 988 in Adiaman, 731 in Malatya, 1,062 in Diyarbakir and 535 in Elazig.
