As a reminder, Gilat Satellite Networks recently announced that the mining company Antamina, which operates one of the largest copper and zinc mines in the world, has chosen Gilat for a multi-million dollar online learning project in San Marcos County, a rural area near the company’s mine in Peru. The project is planned to last four years when Gilat retires Satellite and terrestrial transmission terminals and will provide connectivity services to schools in San Marcos. Through this network, thousands of students and teachers will have access to training and education resources, as well as laptops and other devices.
