Poland intends to purchase in the near future more than 1,000 domestically produced Borsuk missiles with an estimated value of about 10 billion dollars and carrying Spike LR anti-tank missiles manufactured by the Israeli company Rafael. The start of production is expected at the end of 2023, the beginning of 2024.

The German site Soldat & Technik reports that after 8 years of development, the Borsok amphibious infantry fighting vehicle (NBWP) manufactured by the Polish company HSW, is now undergoing final tests in the army that will be completed later this year.

The main weapon system mounted on the ZSSW-30 remote-controlled turret is a 30mm Mk44S Bushmaster II cannon, accompanied by a 7.62mm Coaxley machine gun. On the right side of the turret is installed a two-barreled launcher for firing Spike LR anti-tank missiles from the Rafael company. The RCM team consists of 3 soldiers (commander, gunner and driver) and can carry 6 more soldiers.

The full requirement of the Polish army is estimated at more than 1,500 RCMs and includes variants such as reconnaissance RCMs and rescue and assistance RCMs.

The website states that there is currently no information on the supply schedule. However, the Bursuk will initially be used by the 15th Mechanized Division together with the K2 Black Panther battle tanks, the first of which were delivered in December 2022. It can be estimated that the supply of the Bursuk tanks will begin in 2024, assuming that, as reported, the contract will be signed these days.
