The Presley family is on the way to court: “The relationship is deteriorating”

About a month and a half ago, the 54-year-old Presley died of a heart attack and left behind a tidy will, but her mother, Priscilla Presley, refuses to put up with the changes her daughter made a few years before her death. Remember, as part of those changes, Lisa Marie removed her mother from the role of executor of the will and appointed in her place her two adult children, actress Riley Keough (33) and her brother Benjamin.
A few days after her death, Lisa’s mother hastened to file a court application in an attempt to challenge the “legality and validity” of the new will, from which she is absent and among other things gives Riley ownership of the Graceland mansion in Memphis, and 15 percent of the singer’s assets. The dramatic step was not well received by her granddaughter, and now according to reports the two are completely estranged.
“They don’t talk at all. This is exactly the time when Riley needs her grandmother,” said an insider to the two. He also added that “they always had a good relationship, but now the situation is completely different. Riley is not interested in war, but she discovered a new side in her grandmother.”
It was also reported that behind the star, who recently became a new mother, there is a large legal team and she is able to respond to her grandmother’s lawsuit until close to the date of the first hearing on the matter, which will take place on April 13 in Los Angeles.
