Villupuram: Citizens filed a complaint in the Villupuram Collector, S.B.’s office to stop the construction of private mobile phone tower in a residential area near Villupuram.
Petition by the people of Villupuram, ABS Nagar, Green Garden, Seerdi Sai Nagar, Deiva Nagar:
500 families are living in Viratikuppam path area.
They are taking steps to set up a mobile phone tower of a private company in our residential area.
Due to the installation of a mobile phone tower in a residential area, children and the elderly will face various harm. As a result, despite the request to set up a mobile phone tower at an alternative location, the work has been carried out in the residential area.
Therefore, the tower construction work should be stopped and steps should be taken to construct the tower at a non-residential location.
This is stated in the petition.
