Mammootty, one of the giants of Malayalam cinema, is also very interested in technical matters like cinematography and photography. Faiz Siddique, the cinematographer of the Mammootty film Christopher, talks about Mammootty’s nature of acquiring new gadgets and equipment before they hit the market.
In an interview conducted by Amrita T. Suresh for Dool News, Faiz spoke openly about Mammootty’s love for the camera.
Faiz Siddique said that Mammootty pre-booked the Hassel Blad camera, which he was interested in buying, before it hit the market and he is doing something that even cinematographers don’t do and he is very updated.
“It’s time for the post-production of the Christopher movie. It was then that a Hassel Blad camera model came into the market. It’s a camera I really wanted to try out early in my career.
Mammooka already pre-booked it when I was searching about it before its launch. I was very surprised to know that. Because Mammooka has done something that even cinematographers have not done before. He is so updated,’ said Faiz.
Meanwhile Pakalum Pathiram is the next film to hit theaters by Faiz Camera.
Pakalum Pathirav is a film directed by Ajay Vasudev starring Kunchacko Boban and Rajisha Vijayan.
The film will hit the theaters on March 3. The film is produced by Sri Gokulam Gopalan under the banner of Gokulam Movies. The film is written by Nishad Koya.
Guru Somasundaram, Manoj KU and Seetha, who is notable for his engagement on Monday, are playing other important roles in the film.
