Kannur: Taliparam POCSO (POCSO) fast track court sentenced the accused who molested a two-and-a-half-year-old girl to life imprisonment and fine. The accused is a middle-aged man from Pariaram. The accused sexually assaulted a two-and-a-half-year-old girl in Pariyaram police station limits. The incident in question took place in August 2016. After six years in the incident, the trial court sentenced the accused. Thaliparambu Fast Track Special Court Judge C. Mujeeb Rahman was punished. In the case under various sections, the punishment is life imprisonment and ten years. The court has given strict instructions not to reveal the name of the accused or the events that took place so as not to identify the victim of torture.
