Moshe Hogg’s detention will be extended by another 7 days

by time news

The investigation into the “big game” affair continues. This morning (Tuesday), a few hours before a hearing was to be held in the case of Moshe Hogg, his lawyers reached another agreement with the police on extending his detention for another seven days. According to estimates, at the end of these seven days, the owners of Betar Jerusalem will be released under house arrest.

At the end of the additional seven days of detention, Celebrate will in fact complete 28 days of consensual detention – an unusual thing that probably stems from a number of reasons, one of which is probably to avoid being present at hearings. In previous hearings on the matter of celebrating (three such were held), the owners of Betar Jerusalem usually sat in the car that brought him to the courtroom with a head covering and did not leave until he was asked to join the hearing itself at the end of which he was not required to enter.

In any case, at the end of these 28 days, as stated, Celebrate is expected to go under house arrest. The investigation, meanwhile, will continue – with police claiming that more and more investigative materials and additional evidence are being added all the time. This time, too, the police will submit a summary of the investigations they carried out during the last detention extension and the same materials in question to the court.

The affair, dubbed the “Big Game,” exploded on Nov. 18, when Moshe Hogg was arrested on suspicion of huge crypto fraud and sexual offenses. Since then, the detention has been extended four times, and every day the dimensions of the affair and the shocking suspicions become clearer.
