Three days of national mourning after serious train accident in Greece – Greece

Three days of national mourning in Greece, the flags are flying at half-mast. The reason for this is the serious train accident that occurred in the night from Tuesday to Wednesday near the central Greek city of Larissa. There, for reasons that have not yet been clarified, a fully occupied Intercity 62, which was traveling towards Thessaloniki with around 350 passengers, and a freight train coming from the north collided. So far: 38 dead and around 90 injured. 53 of them still have to be treated in hospitals.
