53-year-old Helga from Groningen has been using antidepressants for about fifteen years now, because of an anxiety disorder that was then diagnosed by the psychiatrist. Since then, she has been ordering repeat prescription after repeat prescription from her GP without anyone asking her if she actually still needs the medication. “It is quite frightening when you think about the fact that you can ask for a repeat prescription over and over again. And that you have been getting this approved without mercy for fifteen years.”
