Glaciers in Antarctica are melting faster than in previous summers, scientists have revealed through satellite images.
Scientists analyzed more than 10,000 satellite images from 2014 to 2021 and found that glaciers are melting 22 percent faster than in previous summers.
Scientists have warned that this rapid change will lead to sea level rise.
Due to the melting of glaciers, the sea level has risen by 7.6 mm between 1992 and 2017 alone.
