Kudalur: A forest fire broke out at a cemetery near Kudalur Mukavyal.

There is a burial ground adjacent to Kudalur mukavyal, panchayat school and residence. Yesterday, at 11:30 in the morning, a forest fire broke out and the plants started burning in the area where the plants are growing. People were shocked.

Kudalur firemen poured water and prevented the fire from spreading to the school and residential area.

However, in this incident, an area of ​​1.5 acres of vegetation was burnt and destroyed. The area was inspected by Gudalur Revenue Inspector Shakir, VAO, Ranjith.

People said, ‘Municipal employees brought garbage and set it on fire in the area, which caused damage to the forest fire. They should avoid doing things like this,’ they said.
