French automaker Citroen plans to export cars manufactured in Chennai across the world.
The company has also signed an MoU with Kamarajar Port for this purpose.
Citroen India is operating out of India under the subsidiary name PAIPL.
Citroen to export cars made in Chennai to other countries
Citroen manufactures vehicles from its factory in Tiruvallur district near Chennai and sells cars across the country.
With the recent success of the new Citroen C3B-Hatch, the company has tied up with Kamaraj Port to export it worldwide.
Initially, Citroen cars will be exported to Southeast Asian countries and African countries.
