Rosario (Argentina): Shots fired at the supermarket owned by the parents of Argentinian superstar Lionel Messi’s wife Antonella Racuso. International media reported that the shooting was carried out by two gunmen who came on a bike on Thursday night. After the incident, they also left a message threatening Messi.
“Messi, we are waiting for you. Javkin can’t protect you.’ The threat message left by the attackers says. Pablo Javkin is the mayor of Rosario. Javkin responded that the aim of the attack was to create chaos in the city.
The supermarket is located in Messi’s hometown of Rosario, about 320 kilometers northwest of Buenos Aires.
No one was injured as the supermarket was closed at the time of the incident. According to the report, the assailants fired 14 times. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
