Such data leads National Statistical Committeesummarizing the results of the tourist year 2022. By the end of the last calendar year, tourism activities in Belarus were carried out by 1203 companies, whose services were used by 533.2 thousand tourists and 1488.8 thousand sightseers.
Last year, 348.6 thousand Belarusians left for a foreign voyage as part of organized groups. 143 thousand foreign tourists came to our country. The average length of stay of our fellow citizens abroad in 2022 was 8 days, and foreigners stayed with us for an average of 5 days.
Tours and excursions within the country were quite popular among Belarusians in 2022. More than 1.53 million people traveled in Belarus, including more than 1.4 million in the form of day trips or excursions.
Almost 1.9 million citizens used the services of hotels and other tourist apartments last year. There were more than 1.1 million Belarusians among them. Sanatorium-resort, health-improving organizations and other specialized accommodation facilities received 934.2 thousand people, including 785 thousand Belarusians. 559.8 thousand people used the services of agro-eco farms, and Belarusians made up the vast majority here – 540.5 thousand guests.
