According to a note left by his father, who allegedly committed suicide after killing his wife and three daughters, the man feared that he would be arrested and lose custody of the girls. The 40-year-old had in fact made a fake Green pass for his wife, but the woman’s employer had noticed. Prosecutor Gernot Bantleon told the Dpa news agency.
The murderer-suicide note was found by investigators after the bodies were found on Saturday, in the house where the family lived, in Koenigs Wusterhausen, in a residential area in the woods south-east of Berlin. In the house were found the lifeless bodies of the two parents, both in their forties, and their daughters aged 4, 8 and 10, all shot dead. New elements will come from autopsies and an examination of a firearm found in the house. Neither adult had a firearm license.
