Saudi Crown Prince embarks on Gulf tour

Riyadh: Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, embarks on a Gulf tour. He started his Gulf tour by visiting Oman. He will also visit the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar and Kuwait.

He is visiting various Gulf countries on the instructions of King Salman. The visit comes ahead of the upcoming GCC summit in Saudi Arabia. The GCC summit will be held in Riyadh in the middle of this month.

The King of Saudi Arabia has invited Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to attend the 42nd GCC Summit. At the invitation of the King of Saudi Arabia, Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud addressed a letter to the Emir of Qatar to attend the GCC Summit.
