Imovision, a partner of Academia Internacional de Cinema and distributor of the film Regra 34, granted 75 tickets for AIC students and teachers to watch the award-winning film by director Julia Murat. The session takes place on March 4, 11 am, at Espaço Itaú Augusta.

Regra 34, which debuted in Brazilian cinemas last January 19, took the Golden Leopard 2022, the top prize at the Locarno Festival, in Switzerland, the Best Fiction Director Prize at Première Brasil, at the Rio Festival, and the special prize at the jury at the 43rd Festival of New Latin American Cinema in Havana, and continues his trajectory in more than 30 international festivals.

The film tells the story of Simone (Sol Miranda), a young black woman who has just passed the public defender’s office and paid for her studies by performing online sex as a “camgirl”.

Actress Sol Miranda is one of the guests at the AIC Orientation Week, a cycle of lectures with filmmakers and actors on audiovisual creation that opens the school year at the school and at Filmworks – the Technical Course in Cinematographic Directing. The event is free.
