DIG/ Created in 2012, the national representation of the Development Bank of Central African States (BDEAC) in Gabon, which began its activity on July 1, 2014, has already financed projects whose operations approved for Gabon total, with that of Afrijet, on February 28, 2023, the sum of 374.555 billion FCFA according to its president, Dieudonné EVOU MEKOU.

123.8 billion were mobilized for the public sector and 250.755 billion FCFA for the private sector.

But these figures may seem to understate if we refer to the official site of the institution (www.bdeac.org) which locates the operations approved to nearly 500 billion francs in 9 years (CFAF 499 billion).

The financing thus granted by the Bank has impacted several sectors of the Gabonese economy, namely transport, urban development, water and sanitation, health and industry.
