Pathanamthitta: Two bikes with the same number were seized from the house of the municipal secretary, who was arrested in a bribery case. Two bikes with the same registration number were seized from Tiruvalla Municipal Secretary Narayanan Stalin’s house. Some other documents were also recovered during the search conducted at the secretary’s house.
Vigilance arrested Thiruvalla Municipal Secretary Narayanan Stalin and his assistant Haseena Begum while accepting a bribe of 25000 rupees last day. The complaint is that he was demanding a bribe from the contractor for the waste management to settle the application.

Following the complaint, the secretary was caught while receiving the note smeared with blue finof thilin powder from the complainant.
