Ellis County (Texas) – Three children died and two others were injured in a house in Italy’s Ellis County, Texas, officials said.
Police arrived at a home in the 300 block of South Harris Street near Stafford Elementary School, about 40 miles south of downtown, around 4 p.m.
Ellis County Sheriff’s Deputy Jerry Cosby said at a news conference Friday night that authorities found three children dead inside the home. A suspect has been detained in the case. Family members later said that the children’s mother killed them.
