FIGARO DEMAIN – Going against the current of “fast fashion”, a handful of models, social networks as megaphones, choose to work exclusively for eco-responsible brands.

This is an eco-cornelian case. How to be a model, when we challenge ambient consumerism and call for eco-responsibility?

Adeline Jouan, who put on her first shoe under the flashes at the age of 20, then appeared in the pages of Vogue, Elle or Madame Figaro, fully intends to defend this position. Viscerally attached to the preservation of the environment, as evidenced by her master’s degree in management of ecosystems and natural environments, the 30-year-old struggled to cut this Gordian knot.

“After an attempt at a job that did not correspond to my vision of work in the environmental sector, I stayed in modeling, which I also liked and had served me to live and finance my studies. But I felt like I was becoming schizophrenic, she explains. From now on, I refuse shooting proposals for brands whose bad environmental practices I deplore.
