The Head of the Misurata Sea Port Customs Center, Colonel Khaled Al-Dhala’a, announced in a statement to Panorama that a “20-foot” container containing suspected firearms “pistols” was seized in cooperation with the Joint Operations Force, following the careful inspections carried out by the members of the Misurata Sea Port Customs Center. .
Al-Dhalea confirmed that this seizure coming aboard the ship (Biltaky) via the shipping line CMACGM is one of several seizures made by the members of the center in the framework of combating smuggling and drugs in order to preserve the security of the homeland and the safety of the citizen.
It is noteworthy that the customs center of the Misurata sea port managed to seize 2,000 weapons during the year 2021, in one of the largest seizures that were made, thanks to the efforts of the head and members of the center.
