Stormy weather is expected to hit us today (Wednesday). Tonight winds will increase from the southwest, there may be sandstorms in the south of the country and fog in the center. In the morning it will start to rain in the north and center of the country. It will be very strong during the day and will be accompanied by strong winds. There will be thunder, lightning and hail and there may be flooding. It will snow on Mount Hermon.
The Ministry of Environmental Protection warned that tomorrow air pollution is very high in the Negev and high to very high in the rest of the country. Due to this, it is recommended that sensitive populations – such as heart patients, lung patients, the elderly, children and pregnant women – avoid strenuous exercise outside. The rest of the population is advised to reduce strenuous exercise outside.
At night the rain will weaken but it will still be cold. Tomorrow there will still be local rain in the breaks, especially until the afternoon. Friday and Saturday will be dry and temperatures will rise.
The temperatures forecast for tomorrow: Jerusalem 14, Tel Aviv 18, Haifa 16, Safed 13, Katzrin 17, Tiberias 20, Nazareth 15, Afula 18, Beit She’an 20, Lod 19, Ashdod 19, Ein Gedi 23, Beer Sheva 18, Mitzpe Ramon 14, Eilat 24.
