Kuwait : A one-day conference was organized under the auspices of St. Gregorios Maha Parish Youth Movement with the participation of youth movement units of other Orthodox parishes in Kuwait.
Based on this year’s theme of the youth movement, “Get out of the ark”, the parish co-vicar Fr. Dr. Biju George Parakkal led the class. Maha Parochial Vicar and Youth Movement Unit President Fr. Liju K. Convenor Bibin Varghese welcomed and Unit Secretary Jomon George expressed gratitude in the function presided over by Ponnachan.
Maha Parish Trustee Sabu Elias, Secretary Isaac Varughese, Maha Parish Youth Movement Unit Lay-Vice President Manoj P. Abraham, Secretary Jomon George, St. Thomas Old Church Youth Movement Vice President K.C. Biju, St. Basil Youth Movement Vice President Jinu Abraham and St. Stephen’s Youth Movement Vice President AB Kadampanad were present on the occasion.
In a conference attended by representatives from other youth movement units in Kuwait, Fr. Dr. Biju Paraikkal, Shijo Pappachan, who is the pride of the movement through organ donation, and the winners of the Vedic study project called Uravai, were honored and the senior youth movement members who completed their term were presented with mangalapatra.
