During the Passover holiday, the Rehovot municipal society will operate “Nitsanim in vacations” for students in grades 1-3 and the junior division, alongside unique art and sports camps. The Rehovot Municipal Society in cooperation with the Education Administration of the Rehovot Municipality and the municipal parents’ leadership, will operate during the Passover holiday “Nitsanim in the holidays” in the schools of the city, for students of grades 1-3 and the junior division. The program will take place between the dates 28.3-3.4.23, between the hours of 13:00 and 8:00, and as part of it the children will enjoy educational, enriching and experiential content in the spirit of Passover. Children who are registered for regular school afternoons are not required to register.

In addition, there will be other summer camps around the city – at the artists’ house, at the Beit Hasem museum for miniatures, at Michal’s house and for sports-loving children – a basketball camp at the “Aussie and Zohar” hall.

The summer camp will take place inside the schools, through educational teams – teachers from the schools / the afternoon team. As part of this program, the children will be exposed in a creative, enriching and fun way to educational and value aspects in the spirit of Passover and will enjoy a variety of activities in the fields of creativity, sports, literature and music relevant to the holiday. Also, purchased enrichment programs will be integrated every day. As for nutrition – the children must be sent with breakfast, in accordance with the allergy rules used in the school.

The cost for the entire program, for the 5 days of activity, is NIS 100, when partial registration is not possible. The opening of the program is subject to a minimum number of registrants. Children who are registered during the year for the municipal company’s “Nitzanim” after-school programs are automatically registered for this program and therefore are not required to register or pay. to the program “Nitsanim in the Holidays”, and they will continue the day of activity on vacation directly until noon, which will operate until 4:00 p.m., according to an adapted enrichment program. They will also be served a hot lunch.

A program for art-loving children, in grades 1-6, will operate at the artists’ house, between the dates 28.3-4.3.23, not including Friday and Saturday, between the hours of 1:30-8:30. As part of the program, we will deal with the visual language of the symbols of the holiday and the embodiment of the stories of the Bible in materials, colors and shapes. We will draw and sculpt elements inspired by the holiday under the guidance of the teachers of the outstanding program for creative children. The Barn Museum for Miniatures will also host a summer camp for art-loving children, in grades 2-5. Passover camps in the Experiences network

The Experiences network caters to all the children of the city’s kindergartens, including children of special education and special education settings, and opens registration for Passover camps even for children who are not registered for afternoon classes during the year, in coordination and cooperation with the municipal parent leadership and the education department of the Rehovot municipality.

The summer camp will take place for five days (28.3-3.4) between the hours of 7:30-13:00 and the network offers a rich pedagogical program, in the spirit of the holiday, which includes activity tables with didactic games, movement activities, story time, creation, plays, party games and more.
