El Salvador + services program inaugurated in Houston

In order to continue bringing the services offered to Salvadorans living abroad, the Vice Ministry of Diaspora and Human Mobility of the Chancellery of the Republic, this Saturday, the “????????????????????????????????” of the El Salvador + Services Program was inaugurated in the city of Houston.

Through the El Salvador + Services Program, the Government of President Bukele complies with political, social, economic and cultural inclusion for the Salvadoran diaspora, strengthening its ties with the country.

«This program is part of the Cuscatlán plan, which establishes a link with the Salvadoran diaspora. It is the first time that more than 15 government institutions have said they are present abroad, along with private companies, to provide information on services for you”, indicated the Vice Minister of Diaspora and Human Mobility, Cindy Portal.

Apart from the Chancellery of the Republic, institutions such as the Consumer Ombudsman, the Ministry of Tourism, the Superintendency of the Financial System (SSF), the Mortgage Bank (BH), the Central Bank of Reserve (BCR), the National Registry of Natural Persons (RNPN), the Salvadoran Institute of Social Security (ISSS), the Ministry of Education, the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of El Salvador (PROESA), the Development Bank of El Salvador (BANDESAL), among others and private companies.

“El Salvador + is an inter-institutional effort that makes the services of our entities available and further facilitates their processes and procedures from the city of Houston,” said the Consul at the Consulate General of El Salvador in Houston, Texas, Alex Garcia.
