by time news

State of Emergency 2 was declared this evening (Saturday) on flight LY091 which took off from Tel Aviv at 21:47 for New York. There were 230 people on board the Boeing 789 aircraft. The emergency teams were prepared at the airport to receive the aircraft and MDA teams including emergency motorcycles, ambulances and intensive care vehicles arrived at the airport for medical security. After 23:00 the plane landed safely.

A police force worked to open the axis in Ayalon near the crossroads with the assistance of Makhtezit and allowed a number of ambulances to move south for the purpose of preparing for the emergency in Israel.

Mal Al reported: “Flight 091 took off at 10:05 p.m. Due to a rack failure after takeoff, the flight will return to land in Tel Aviv in the next few minutes. After emptying fuel over the sea, and in order to reduce the landing weight, the flight will land at a slightly higher speed than usual, but without any danger for the safety of the passengers and crew.”

“Rescue” medics Moshe Indig and Nissan Wazner, who arrived at the airport, said: “Immediately after an emergency was declared for the plane with 230 passengers, rescue volunteers went with MDA and Rescue ambulances to the airport to help the MDA forces with securing the landing. At the Dashmia aid station, not a single passenger needed medical treatment. At the same time as the event in Nabvi, additional volunteers went to the various MDA stations to staff additional ambulances and respond to routine cases.”
