A retired airport official was killed in a road accident in Trichy on Saturday night. Another was seriously injured.
Sondhav Pishkinathan (60) of Dindigul Mishkin Street. Evan retired from the Airport Authority Group and ran a security company in Dindigul. In this case, Ivar, who came to Trichy on Saturday morning with Karthik (24), who works in his company, left for the city that night.
On the Trichy-Dindigal National Highway, the car lost control and hit a roadside embankment while approaching Ramjinagar Cholanagar. The front of the car collapsed and Pishkinathan died on the spot. The critically injured Karthik was admitted to the Trichy Government Hospital. Ramjinagar police have registered a case and are investigating.
