The Libyan Accountants and Auditors Syndicate meets the Minister of Economy with the Government of National Unity

Last Monday, corresponding to 12/26/2022, a meeting was held between Mr. Salah El-Din Bashir Al-Turki, the head of the Libyan Accountants and Auditors Syndicate, accompanied by a member of the Syndicate, Dr. Masoud Sowa, with the Minister of Economy of the Government of National Unity, Mr. Muhammad Al-Hawij, in his office at the Ministry of Economy’s office.

The meeting discussed the importance of giving the chartered accountant greater opportunities for cooperation and participation within the programs and policies of the Ministry of Economy, in order to have a positive and effective role within the limits of his profession, to contribute to the support and success of commercial and economic activities and institutions.

The meeting also dealt with coordination in the future involving the participation of certified accountants and inviting them to attend conferences, workshops and forums held by the Ministry.

Also, the head of the Libyan Accountants and Auditors Association, Salah El-Din Al-Turki, coordinated with Dr. Suhail Abu Shiha, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy, to hold a bilateral meeting in the coming days to discuss several issues of common interest and to serve the public interest.

These meetings come within the framework of the Libyan Association of Accountants and Auditors seeking to communicate and cooperate with other state institutions to endorse the importance of activating the role of the chartered accountant.
