FC Barcelona continues to lead the Spanish championship in the first division of football after the 24th round with 62 points, after the 1-0 triumph against Valencia. As for Real Madrid, they drew goalless in the trip to Real Betis.
League leaders FC Barcelona are now nine points clear of Real Madrid after the 24th round of the Spanish Football League.
FC Barcelona won and extended league lead
Os ‘blaugranas‘ won 1-0 against Valencia. The only goal was scored by the Brazilian striker Raphinha.
With this triumph, FC Barcelona leads the Spanish League with 62 points, counting 20 triumphs, two draws and two defeats in this season 2022/2023.
Real Madrid drew again and lost points
Os ‘You meringues‘ drew goalless on the trip to Real Betis.
With this draw, Madrid remain in second place with 53 pointsto nine of the Catalan leaders.
to notice that in third place is Atlético Madrid who won by 6-1 to the Seville team. Os ‘colchoneros‘ are in third place with 45 points.
The two leaders will play again next weekend, on the 11th and 12th of March: Real Madrid-Espanyol and Athletic Bilbao-FC Barcelona.
