Gokulam took the lead in the 11th minute of the game. Mendy started the scoring. Sudeva equalized through Alexis Gomes in the 15th minute. No further goals were scored in the first half. Shilton D’Silva gave Gokulam the lead again in the 49th minute. Gokulam raised the score in the 62nd minute through Farshad’s hundred. In the 87th minute, Mendy scored again with a penalty and the victory was complete.
With the win, Gokulam Kerala are in third place with 36 points from 21 matches. Gokulat’s last match will be held on March 12 at the EMS Stadium in Kozhikode. Srinidhi Deccan, the second runner-up, is the opponent.
