During an interview with Barga Dutt for a Mojo story on The Woman, Khushpu revealed the sensational information.
Speaking on the programme, Khushbu said:- “I think when a child is abused, it scars the child for the rest of their life.
It is not a girl or a boy. My mother had a very bad marriage. A man who thought it was his birthright to beat his wife, beat his children, and sexually abuse his only daughter. I was 8 years old when I started being sexually harassed.
I had the courage to speak against him at the age of 15,” he said. And as he continued to speak, he came to a point where he had to take a stand. But I kept my mouth shut for years because I was afraid of what my family would say. My mother didn’t believe me. But at the age of 15 I thought enough was enough and started speaking out against him.
I was not even 16 years old then. He left us alone. We don’t know where the next meal will come from. Many such incidents made me strong-willed at an early age, said Khushbu. Actress Khushbu’s speech has created a lot of buzz.
