Where are European social democrats headed?

The SPÖ could borrow from other EU countries to get their disorientation under control.

Europe’s major future issues are a steep template for social democracy – but in Austria they fizzle out unused. There is no lack of role models in the EU: Two different, equally promising currents in northern and southern Europe could serve as an example for the SPÖ to regain its profile.
