Honor announced the Magic 5 Ultimate, a special edition of the Magic 5 Pro. It comes with a coating of artificial leather and a protector included in the real leather packaging, as well as wired headphones that connect to the device’s USB C input.

Another innovation is a battery that uses silicon-carbon technology, which allowed Honor to increase the capacity from 5,100 mAh to 5,450 mAh, without any change in the size or weight of the device. This battery will now also be sold in the Magic 5 Pro models in China. The maximum charging power was and remains 66 watts.

Apart from that, the specification remains the same as that of the Magic 5 Pro model, with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, 16 GB of working memory and 512 GB of file storage. The OLED display has a size of 6.81 inches and a resolution of 1312×2848 pixels, and a dynamic refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The photography setup includes three cameras with 50 megapixel sensors, first, a wide lens and a periscopic lens that magnifies up to 3.5 times. In front, a pair of cameras, one with a 12-megapixel sensor and the other as a depth sensor for portrait photography.

The price of the Magic 5 Ultimate model in China is about 900 dollars, with the first shipments expected on March 20. Meanwhile, Honor has no plans for global marketing of this model.
