With a polite video shared on her Instagram account, the woman, married to the 67-year-old actor since 2009, launched an appeal to photographers and fans, to leave the star, suffering from frontal-temporal dementia, alone

A few days ago the British newspaper Daily Mail had published photos and videos of Bruce Willis as he went for coffee with two friends in Los Angeles, in what was the first public outing of the 67-year-old actor after the confirmation of the diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia. And now Willis’s second wife, Emma Heming, has launched an appeal via social media to the paparazzi and fans, asking everyone to leave her husband alone (the two have been married since 2009 and have two daughters).

“I appeal to the photographers, the cameramen who are always trying to get exclusive images of my husband, please keep your distance. I know it’s your job but stop chasing him,” the woman asked politely and kindly in the video shared on Instagram, later explaining that even the constant screams to try to get the Hollywood star’s attention are out of place. “Please don’t yell, don’t ask him how he is or anything, don’t make too much noise – continued Emma -. Give him space for her. Allow whoever is accompanying him somewhere to go from point A to point B in total safety”.

Last February, a year after Willis’ farewell to acting due to a form of aphasia that blocked his speech, the family announced that the actor suffers from frontotemporal dementia which causes him a series of disorders ( slow movements, joint stiffness, balance problems and slurred speech). “It’s painful, but it’s finally a relief to have a clear diagnosis,” Heming wrote in a post, along with Willis’ first wife, Demi Moore, and her five daughters.
