Karai against the refuseniks: “The people of Israel will manage without you – go to hell”

Communications Minister Dr. Shlomo Karai addressed the issue of the refuseniks this evening (Monday).

In the post he published, Minister Karai wrote: “And Mordechai will not kneel or bow down – there are times when one must stand firm against the hegemony and the rulers in their own eyes.

To the insolent refusers, we were told Mordecai’s article to Esther: ‘Profit and salvation will arise for the Jews from another place, and your father’s house will be lost’… The people of Israel will get along without you and you will go to hell.”

Karai also wrote: “And if we are, we will apply the continuation of the verse: ‘And who knows if at such a time you have reached the kingdom’ – the reform will move. At such a time we have reached the kingdom.”

The minister later added: “The refusal is sad, stinking and miserable. And it tears the heart. The refusal and its consequences. Not the statements against it.

“O those who say that evil is good and good is evil. Darkness for light, and light for darkness. Bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter.”
