Helicopters from the Air Force’s Solur station are used to pump water from above. Following the fire at Brahmapuram Garbage Plant, District Collector Dr. Renu Raj informed. Meanwhile, smoke continues in Kochi for the fifth day. Smoke also reached Arukutty area of ​​Alappuzha.

There is a situation where smoke is rising from under the garbage. To alleviate this, the work of removing waste up to four meters deep with JCB and pumping water with a big pump is in progress. At present 30 fire tenders and 125 firemen are in service. It pumps 60,000 liters of water per minute. Apart from this, Navy’s air dropping operation is also going on. The Navy’s operation will continue today.
