A rioter opened fire on the police in Coimbatore… a sensational incident

There was a huge commotion in Coimbatore when a man taken for questioning in an arms case fired at the police.

Sanjay Raja, the prisoner who opened fire, was shot dead by the police. It is said that Sanjay Raj shot the policeman when he went to confiscate the pistol.

The incident took place in Coimbatore’s Kattu Math area. Sanjay Raja was admitted to the hospital for treatment after he was injured in the knee when Assistant Inspector Chandrasekhar fired in self-defence.
