The first stage, from the port on the south side of the beach to the roundabout, has facilities such as an amphitheater, sidewalks, children’s playgrounds, football, basketball and volleyball courts. The first phase will feature special picnic spots, restaurants, cafes, Islamic-style gardens, washroom facilities for seafarers, and special tracks for jogging and cycling. There is also a facility to park 315 cars at a time.

Khor Fakkan beach is also a place where nostalgic memories are presented to the Malayalees. The second phase of the renovation project will be completed by the end of next year. On the shores of the Khor Fakkan, 89 km from the city of Sharjah, extensive festivities take place on weekends and holidays.
