Planning Secretariat will request a forensic audit from the TSC

Tegucigalpa, Honduras. The Ministry of Planning and Strategy (SPE) announced days ago that this Monday it would send a request to the Superior Court of Accounts (TSC) to undergo a forensic audit in relation to a million-dollar purchase of plane tickets and luxury furniture.

In the statement shared by the SPE, it was detailed that the request would be made due to a series of attacks that manipulate the information of its transparency portal “with the purpose of discrediting our administration and the government of the Republic.”

In this sense, through the notice, the institution clarified several of the purchases made by the SPE. The same that they assure have been carried out within the framework of the State Procurement Law. Likewise, it details that all acquisitions have been made through suppliers duly registered by ONCA.

Regarding the purchase of air tickets “maliciously manipulated”the institution clarified that these have served to mobilize specialists and technicians who have supervised the facilities of the Operation Miracle in the municipality of followpeque. as well as the project “I can”destined to educate a people.

In the same way, it notified that the trips are duly justified and approved.

Justifications and defamations

Subsequently, the Secretariat of Planning and Strategy qualified as “faso e offending” the ordinance of purchase luxurious furniture.

“In most cases, our furniture and computer equipment were obtained through agreements with other institutions,” the statement quoted.

Similarly, the SPE ruled out purchases of luxury material (luxury products) and in the case of the acquisition of a cell phone, he argued that this was done for the communication unit. This is due to the impossibility of providing his staff with adequate photographic equipment, given the need to produce truthful information for the people.
