Cellcom and Palo Alto Networks are expanding their collaboration

by time news

Cellcom and Palo Alto Networks held a special conference yesterday (Tuesday) and announced the expansion of cooperation between them. This is a strategic move that will focus on the worlds of information security in general, and the transition to public cloud security solutions (such as Azur AWS, etc.) in particular. Cellcom, which has completed Palo Alto Networks’ special certification as a Platinum Innovator, will focus on creating customer collaborations.

The joint move comes against the backdrop of cyber threats that have occurred in the past year, and have been directed mainly at large and complex companies – which forced the two to produce a joint solution that appeals mainly to large business customers (ENT & CORP) who implemented Palo Alto Networks information security solutions.

As part of the conference, which was attended by a wide range of business strategic customers such as Netafim and more, Nir Tzuk, founder and CTO, Palo Alto Networks, presented Nadav Amsalem, VP of Business Customers at Cellcom, with the prestigious certification as a Platinum Innovator partner.
This certification reflects the scope of Cellcom’s significant business activity in the implementation of Palo Alto Networks’ solutions. It should be noted that Cellcom is one of the few communications companies in the country that holds this certification.

Nadav Amsalem, Cellcom’s VP of Business Customers, said: “The past year has been marked by numerous and unusual cyber attacks, which have demonstrated the growing and constant need for advanced, creative and innovative cyber solutions that will be a few steps ahead. The connection with Palo Alto Networks allows Cellcom to prepare well for the wave of attacks that will take place even more in 2022, and through this partnership we will be able to provide the basket of the best and most advanced solutions to the company’s range of customers. “
