It’s not a classic team time trial that awaits the riders this Tuesday. A new rule will appear on the Paris-Nice.
Usually, for each team, the time is taken on the 4th or 5th runner. Hence the concept of riding “as a team”, staying in a group to go fast together.
This time, the time will be taken on the 1st runner. For the stage victory, a rider can therefore finish alone in a sprint to help his team win. Each time will then be taken individually for the general classification.
