Millions of people in French pension protests

Millions of people across France demonstrated on Tuesday against the proposed pension reforms in that country. According to the French Ministry of the Interior, this concerns 1.28 million people. The left-wing trade union center CGT speaks of 3.5 million demonstrators. This means that the turnout is higher than at previous demonstrations against pension reforms.
