After some leaks of images, the successor to the Lamborghini Aventador had the technical data revealed. The plug-in hybrid sports car will be equipped with a V12 engine and three electric ones, which together deliver 1,000 hp. However, the brand has not yet reported the name or when the bolide will be launched.

Officially, Lamborghini calls the new engine LB744 and will be a 6.5-liter V12, which delivers 825 hp at 9,500 rpm with torque of 73.93 kgfm at 6,750 rpm. Along with this combustion engine, there will be three more electric motors, whose data have not been released. The automaker only said that together the four engines will have 1,000 hp, but did not say the torque of the three propellers. The transmission will be an eight-position dual-clutch automatic.

Lamborghini also said that the successor to the Aventador will have 3.8 kWh batteries and can be charged at a socket of up to 7 kW, but did not say how long it takes to charge the lithium-ion batteries, which will be placed in the central tunnel.

Visually, the replacement for the Lamborghini Aventador will retain the brand’s classic aggressive line design. It should also have star-shaped wheels, the headlights are tapered with an inverted “Y” shape, which gives sportiness, and the rear will have small headlights with dual exhaust pipes in the center. There are no images of the interior of the vehicle.
