The presidents of the United States and France, Joe Biden and Emmanuel Macron, respectively, held a telephone conversation on Tuesday in which they reaffirmed their mutual commitment to continue providing “security assistance” to Ukraine.

“The two leaders have spoken of their support for Ukraine as Russia’s brutal invasion enters its second year, including their commitment to continue providing Ukraine with security assistance and imposing costs on Russia for its aggression,” the White House said. in a short statement.
